Dream Catcher.
dreamcatcher |ˈdrēmˌkaCHər, -ˌkeCH-|noun
A small hoop containing a horsehair mesh, or a similar construction of string or yarn, decorated with feathers and beads, believed to give its owner good dreams. Dreamcatchers were originally made by American Indians.
The first dream catcher I ever got was from JP Superstore along Tumon Bay, Guam. There were stacks of it and it arose in various sizes and diverse colors. I was modestly charmed with the trifling one with tiny wind chimes dangling over it. It was pretty. I got it at around $5.
It has been a constant dream of mine to make myself one, inspired from my day-to-day reads from the blogs I truly love. I especially love Rachel Ashwell's design. It is so shabby and lovely at the same time. Another inspiration is from the blog Simply Me. She has a very sweet Dream Catcher as well.
Now,
I cannot wait to make my own. I went out today to look for materials and to my
dismay; I couldn't find the single and most essential one - the round base. I
got so frustrated but my hunting won't end today. I shall uncover it
soon.
May
you have a gentle and sweet dream tonight!
