House of Teapots.

For someone like myself who is specifically fond of teapots will be in total bliss when visiting this House of Collection somewhere in Xavierville, Quezon City in the Philippines.

I met this lady in a dinner party and as soon as she knew I was into collecting teapots, she dragged me a couple of blocks to visit her house.

This lady particularly collected NOVELTY Teapots. I have never heard that such exist not until I saw it for myself. I personally collect Antique and Vintage Teapots as I find it very dainty and worthwhile collecting.

She has a total of 141 Teapots to be exact housed in a very huge Glass Cabinet specifically made for her collection. She has all sorts of Disney Characters, Presidents of the US, all the good things to be exact. She buys them from her trips abroad and from thrift shops elsewhere. And mind you, her teapots aren't cheap at all, they even have brands as I recall her story, she must be an avid shopper.

Here are some snippets of her Teapot Collection. I felt so tiny as my collection is only 5 teapots, but I have lovely ones, I proudly say. :)

I love how she managed to adorn her Glass Cabinet with a Giant Teapot.

Betty Boop and her charming glory on a shape of a Teapot.

This corner was my favorite. I love the flowery things.

She mentioned that this particular teapot was pricey and branded. Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

How lovely this kitchen replica of a teapot is? It is amazing how someone finds this. I have never ever seen a Novelty Teapot.

Dainty things are my favorite.

US Presidents and famous people. Novelty, indeed.

Grace and Beauty.

My friend Joana posted her beauty rituals and beauty products that she uses day to day or on some special occasion too. She has tagged me and some of her friends in her post too so that we will do the same. So, here I am, posting my daily grind on what goes in and out my face.

I specifically use Pond's products for my face as far as cleansing goes. I believe that Pond's Cold Cream is the greatest beauty invention ever. I usually use this after a a heavy day out in the sun and when ever I have make up on. I use it before washing my face. It works like magic. It removes make-up too. Currently, I am using Pond's line of Flawless White for the main reason that my wedding is just around the corner and my sister has made a comment that my skin isn't wedding ready. Oh well, that was a constructive criticism for my part and I did very well gladly embraced it.

Eye Cream has been my constant friend these past few years. I once met somebody who told me that the area below my eyes were absolutely dry and I was concerned right away. I am currently using Kiehl's, so far, it has been good. As far as Eye Make-up goes, I use MAC which was given to me by future sister-in-law. It works day and night. I use Mary Kay Signature line in Black and Maybelline in Dark Brown as an Eye Liner. As for my lashes, I am a Maybelline fan of their Black Mascara. I also am using LOREAL'S.

I never use foundation or powder without sunscreen. Somehow it helps a lot aside from the Sunscreen that I dab on my face every morning. I am also a fan of Elianto's Mineral Powder. Currently I am using MAC for my foundation and Anna Sui's blush.

I have to say that NIVEA Creme is also one of the greatest beauty invention. You must try it for yourself some time. I usually use it before bed time on my legs and elbows.

The scents that I love all these years are Bench's Bubble Gum Cologne, D&G's Light Blue and Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush. I use different scents on different occasions or whatever mood I am in.

What's your beauty ritual?

Do you want to age naturally and gracefully like I do?

These photos are taken by Grace Kelly's good friend Howell Conant on her trip to Jamaica. I love how carefree she looks here. She is a beauty.

I am a huge fan of this beautiful lady and how I wish I will age gracefully like her.

Cake and Confusion.

Here I am again, bravely anticipating for the months, weeks and days ahead. It is awfully and excitingly near all together. I cannot believe that in a few more months, weeks and days, I will be united as one with the person whom I fell in love with not simply knowing - almost everyday.

Looking at the bigger picture, my wedding preparations has been amazingly okay. I know stress comes uninvited day by day but somehow, the whole thing has turned out to be bright and sunny.

I just got back from a recent trip to Manila and today I am going to Cebu to accomplish my wedding chores. I hope I get back home feeling productive and fulfilled. Oh, how I love to write and daydream about my daily tasks in Manila but I have yet to pack and sort my things, empty my bag that hasn't been touched for days, and get myself together.

Time will come that all I will ever do is scribble into a tiny notebook about what stories I could possibly share in this little corner of mine. That day will come.

And as I write this entry, I am confused. There are just too many choices. I am currently looking for the perfect cake for my Pre-Wedding Celebration.

A little help would mean a lot.

My First Choice.

My Second Choice.

And lastly, my last choice.

My Pre-Wedding Celebration is Floral Themed but still it is Formal. I just adore simplicity so much that those huge and fancy cakes don't excite me at all.
Just saying...
