Summer.

It is scorching hot these days. It somehow makes it agonizing to take afternoon naps as the humid weather breaks it even.

I have a confession. I totally love this scorching hot season we call SUMMER. As everyone tweets and as everyone post shout outs to their facebook page as to how warm it is day by day, I smile thinking and keeping silently to myself how I am loving this kind of weather.

I adore summer and its beauty. I have learned to love the rain but I just don’t do cold weather. It makes me sick to the bones.

Summer is definitely here.

I was out and about in the ocean yesterday as a tiny jelly fish kind of sucked my cheek. It is pretty swollen now but I know it will go away or so I hope it will, but it really doesn’t matter as I was in my favorite dwelling place – the sea. I can stay under the midday sun as long as I want to but nowadays I have been reminded about the dangers of skin cancer and how it makes you undeniably ugly. I am careful now.

The sunset hues would vary day to day, it gets darker as it sets, meaning there are more sunny days ahead. And how lovely is that. One of these days, I will go on and take wonderful snapshots of the bay and will share it here.

Am I the only person who loves Summer?

My Most Fabulous Vintage Find. Ever.

When I was in California last month, my Tita Maite (My Mama’s sister) took me to a flea market. I’d like to consider it was some sort of a vast anything-goes bazaar. We went to the Rose Bowl at Pasadena which was a stretched drive from where we were staying. I was animated with the place and how many people convey their old and new items for sale. Name it, they have everything

I personally went looking around to stumble upon nice teapots but to my dismay I found nothing that would fit my price array. But low and behold I found something that would perfectly contest my teapot collection. I found 2 sets of teacups at a reasonable and despicable price. Actually, I felt a little bit of guilt as I bid to the lowest that I could get and used my charm on this funny guy. Well, whatever it was, it worked. Bought every single one for a sum of $10.00.

I also came to pass across vintage jewelry that was so timely and precious to me. I found a blue Cameo belt buckle which I will transform soon into a lovely pendant; and I found the traditional and classic coral Cameo which was a little bit smaller. Cloud nine. I have a thing for Cameos and I got all my Cameos from special people and from special trips abroad.

So far, this has been my most extraordinary vintage find ever. I am in heaven.

Monday Afternoon.

My darling whom I hate and love both at the same time, who makes my temperature rise high and low, who makes my world stop and go, who makes me laugh and cry all together, who is addicted to Fish and Chips and who eats a favorite food until he grows tired of it - this is our Monday Afternoon.

At the boardwalk of Sabin Resort Hotel. He said, he would love to wake up to this view everyday, I say, that is possible... You never know.

Oh how we dream of having our Wedding Reception here but the problem is that we cannot predict the rainy days, we don't want to take a great risk of having a party here. But it would really be lovely here at night.

Soothing as it can be. Reasons why I love Ormoc - The bay is just beautiful.

Fresh Pineapple Juice. It's the most healthy drink on top of my list.

Seashells. Oh how I love them dearly...

An old whiskey bottle is transformed to be a lovely flower vase.

Sabin's Fish Burger. I never grow tired of Fish. I love it. Julio is currently making this as one of his favorite, second to Fish and Chips.

Fries. Oily but good.

And how pretty it is when it lights up at night. I wish I can take this home with me...

Happy Easter!

Comes Easter, comes new beginnings and happy endings. Comes Easter, comes Peace and Genuine Happiness from our risen Lord.

May all your Easter be filled with so much positive energy to enlighten your days throughout the year.

A Year of Mornings.

A very good friend, actually the most thoughtful friend I have, who luckily is my sister-in-law to be sent me this book last night. I really love the book for it's simplicity and color. It is about 2 bloggers who live 3,191 miles apart and who incorporated their works into 1 book.

I am inspired to make a photo blog out of their beautiful work and I would like to call it "A Day in the Life", also inspired by The Beatles song.

Oh how I am so much inspired nowadays... Feels like I am floating beyond all the stress I deal from day to day, I still am happy though, I always consider that life is short and uncertain, I have to make NO room for worries. :)

My Bridesmaids Dresses.

So, I am in my planning mode and one thing is for sure - I've got this design for my lovely bridesmaids. :)

Mine will be a surprise.

I get stressed out a lot nowadays and it is because of 2 people whom I won't make mention anymore. I will get by.

It's almost 30 days of being sweets and meat free and I am so proud of this accomplishment - it's my 4th year already.

I have been trying to lose the weight I gained when I was in California. Oh my... It is just so hard. I am trying my very best.

Oh... I already booked a photographer and a videographer. That was an easy task.

That's all for now. My internet has been crazy, how I hate it so much. I will try to write as much as I can and rant about my feelings from time to time. :)
