Lovely Air Supply.

Today I am putting lovely little things together. Still don't know which design to proceed with but I am hoping to complete this project in no time.

Time flies super fast nowadays. I am getting the crazy nerves by the minute.

Praying that everything will fall into its right place.

Classic Piece.

I am crazy with these dainty-looking Tops from Zara and H & M.

I recently bought a Satin Fabric and one day will transform it into something like this.

It's a classic piece that never goes out of style and grace.

That's all for today.
Busy week ahead of me.

All in the thoughts of Pink.

My wedding is just around the corner, 2 more months to be exact. One thing I am very much excited about is that my cousin Tina and I are planning to put up a little Sweets' Corner with almost everything in shades of pink and blue as these two colors are our motif.

I wanted to serve this Pink Lemonade during cocktails but we have decided not to pursue cocktail hour anymore. There's just too much going on already.

I have always been fascinated with everything in Pink. I used to have my bedroom wall painted with pink and had my curtains come in pink as well. My cousins would oftentimes call me gay in our native language because of how I carry the color pink all the time.

As we speak, I have my Pink Moleskine and Pink Pen beside me waiting for it to be touched in a jiffy.

Today is one of my free day. I finished my baking chores yesterday. There's so much to do and I don't know where to start. Perhaps I will start scribbling on my notes now - on my Pink Moleskine. :)

Heaven at Calea.

I dream of someday owning a place as beautiful as Calea. It is a sweet tooth’s delight to visit this wonderful realm of cakes and pastries. I love how the owner has put into reality his or her touches and all the modest niceties that contain the place. Sometimes, I think it has me written all over it. It is just so nice. I could stay there forever.

I love the Cornflower colored door. It looks like the entrance to an old castle. It also has a shabby finish which I totally dig in.

The sight of this mouth-watering cake display leaves me in total awe and I only have high-praises for the owner whoever he or she is.

And perhaps my favorite thing in the whole cafe is this white-bricked wall and a yellow lamp fixture on it. It looks so chic and shabby all together. Oh how I love it. I wish I could take one home.

A part of the wall is adorned with this white framed beauties. I love it to the nth level.

I also love the extra size lamps that hangs above each window side table. It looks so warm and romantic at night.

White Chocolate Cheesecake. This was recommended to me by cousin Franco. I love it. The flavor is full and creamy.

The Imported Chocolate Cake is a must-try. It is decadent and rich. The caramel filling is just so good.

Tiramisu. Always a classic accompaniment to my Cappuccino. It is light and tasty.

As I write this entry, I already am proud for my 4 types of Cheesecakes. One day, I will have 10 kinds. Someday...

Calea is located in Bacolod City in these following branches:

Calea Branches:

  • Calea Lacson Street (beside L’Fisher Hotel) – main branch
  • Calea Robinsons Place Bacolod
  • Calea East Block

Old things and many.

For some reason, I've always been a fan of old things. Not just any ordinary stuff but the ones that are really lovely and one that has a story behind it, it makes everything old and unique all together.

Growing up, I would see my mother bring home old jars or any intricate antique piece from her friend's house or some bought from local vendors. I would look at it and for some reason always appreciating how lovely those things were. Thinking, maybe my love for vintage teapots would all go beyond those influences of always seeing antiques from my mother, her sisters and even my grandmother.

I am getting married in less than 2 months now and hopefully in God's perfect time would be getting a house to call our own. I don't know if I will fill my house with lots of this old and lovely things. Maybe I will, maybe I won't.

On a recent trip to the City of Smiles - Bacolod City, I was indeed lucky to go and visit some beautiful homes with old things dating to early 1900's. I cannot imagine how precious the things that still remain in their houses after all these years. The heirs of the respective families must be so proud.

This is the staircase of the Gaston House in Silay. It leads to further 2 more staircases which is designed one for the females and one for the male. I love the shade of blue on the walls, it makes the place more vintage.

Oh how I love to see curtains tied on the side of walls or doors. It is simply pretty.

I love how they placed all this things together. The mirror looks so regal and classic.

Found this very old typewriter at the Museum.

Very old and pretty coffee tins. I wonder where these came from. From the looks of it, I could trace it back to any European country. I wonder if it was good coffee?

And old Telephone. They say, it still works up to now. I remember having a vintage telephone in our old house before. I will try to look for it and maybe do another post all about it.

This was taken at the Museum as well. Oh how I love the setting of this room. It reminds me of the home of one blogger that I constantly follow.

An old Tea Set. Not my type. But it looks very well kept and preserved.

I love how they put all the old frames together in this little piano. The doily looks so clean and fresh.

This particular room was a Library. I am amazed how much books the owner has. He or she must be an avid reader. O
