The Blooming Tea.

Teas have become my soothing drink ever since I went to a trip in Beijing and dropped by one of their many Tea Houses. I learned a few apt ways on how a certain tea is to be drunk or rather sipped. Every time I feel full, woozy, and exhausted, I take it - it’s my feel-good drink.

My favourites are the Oolong Tea, Chamomile, Marrakesh Mint and Green Tea, Jasmine and Lily, and Simply Mint.

But this particular tea from Infusion is just incredible. It’s a Blooming Tea. I have never heard of it until I came here to Guam. The taste is just gentle - very light and calming.

I have tried the Jasmine and Lily and the Rose.

So, my friends Bhe and Tedi and myself of course went to kick boxing class and then we head over to Infusion and had a Tea session. It was grand for me.

Here are some of the best photos I took.

The Rose.

Lily and Jasmine. Check out the vibrant colors.

Never ending arguments.

I love the idea of this wall.

The Singing Bee.

My sister. Such a darling. She sang this song on her Recognition day where she was awarded for Art & Achievement, Music and a Special Award from school. How cool is that? :)

I miss you and Ina. . .

Got Steak?

My boss has asked me to take photographs from work. I gladly obliged as taking photos are one of my happy zone.

Here are the best of the bunch. Enjoy.

Before.

After. The poor thing just died...

A 14 oz. New York Steak. This is soooo good.

A 10 oz Fillet Mignon. This was super dooper tender.

They make Caesar Salad tableside. This is their set-up beforehand.

Tarah. One of the servers. She is very pretty and bubbly. She is just 18 years old.

Caesar Salad.

Table setting. The wine standing on the table is a California wine called Opus One. It costs $450.00.

Nelson.

William.

Ate Vicky, Tarah and I. I must say that the ambiance of this place is unique. But there are times that I find it as if I were in the Adam's Family Mansion...

Around the Island.

Here are some photographs I captured when me and my friends went around the Island of Guam, well, the South of the Island only. I love this island so much for it reminds me very well of home.

Here are some of my favorite photographs all throughout my lovely day...

I love trees. I have some nice snippets of trees all throughout the years. This particular one was taken at Talofofo. It reminds me of the horror films like Blair Witch Project, The Ring and etc...

I love this spot as well. I unfortunately cannot recall where this was. But this was built in honor of those soldiers who passed away during the War. This is where I saw one of my favorite quotes scribbled on the old sign which lies on the grounds - "All gave Some, Some gave All".

My friend Sherry who by the way takes really nice photographs took this of me. I like it so much. During this moment, I wanted to just go ahead and take a little swim, but I for one was too careless not to bring my extra clothes. Sigh.

At Jeff's Pirates Cove. How I wish I could take these hammocks along with me. I can just sleep here all day, or just simply lounge with a good-read book and some Iced Tea - I'm good to go.

Sherry and I lost in wilderness.

This path leads to somewhere scary for when I took this picture I could hear gunshots. Perhaps they were hunting for some wild boar or maybe they were killing somebody, you never know...

Inarajan. One of my favorite places in the Island.

Extremely strong and huge waves are simply eye catching. I could stare at them for hours...

This spot reminds me of The Lagoon in the cartoon movie Peter Pan. Its definitely like a mermaid's lagoon. Do you ever wonder if such exists? I personally believe that they do.

At Merizo. The purpose of this thing was that soldiers would hide at this little space awaiting the arrival of their enemies on the seas fronting them.

At the end of our road trip, we went to Sheraton Hotel to indulge on some coffee that we all miss. It's not as good as Starbucks in the Philippines but it is fairly good.

Happy Meal.

My Happy Meal.

Thank you to my cousin Manel for generously giving me the ingredients on how I put up with this meal.

It's just plain and simple Cheeseburger.

I was just delighted because this was the first meal I ate that made me smile. After all I made it myself. I smile for many reasons, and this is just one of them...

I know. My patty is super dooper HUGE. I cut it into half of course. All you need is the greenest Lettuce, a slice of cheese, slices of lovely tomatoes, the patty (this was Angus Beef), and burger buns (mine was just small).

And you'd come up with this. It was delicious up to the very last bite. I love my happy meal!

Hy's Steakhouse.

Hy's Steakhouse. This is where I work now. It's a fine dining steakhouse situated in Guam's famous Tumon Bay. It is located at the Lobby of Holiday Resort Guam.

I was feasting on some lady fingers from the Philippines before work. I ate it along with my San Mig Coffee.

With my co-worker Irish who's really a nice girl.

At the bar. Champagne.

This is where I stand and greet guests when they come in. A lovely lamp shade. I wish it is mine.

Our restaurant can sit up to 11o persons. It has an antique/vintage ambiance as our Big Boss is a fan of it.

It 'aint Christmas anymore but these trees are still here. They're very pretty so it doesn't matter if it stands there the whole year through.

The Wine Cellar.

It can be a very romantic place but somehow staring at those images that has been hanging for so long on the wall gives me the creeps.

My co-workers Dominic and Irish at the Bar.

I'll be posting more of my new workplace soon. When I have all the time in the world...

*Love your work, then you will find pleasure in mastering it.*
I love wisdom notes and will be posting one at the end of my every blog.
